Did you know that a routine eye examination can also detect problems not associated with your eyes? Problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, anemia, arterial plaques and many others can be detected from a simple eye exam.
You should have your eyes checked at least once yearly if they are in perfect health. With most eye conditions, early diagnosis and treatment can help to preserve as much of your vision as possible. Many conditions will rob you of your vision and it is difficult, if not impossible, to regain that vision.
